Brian Viele, Founder & President
Brian has been working on embedded systems and electronics for vehicles since 2004. Most recently, Brian was the system architect and avionics hardware and software lead for Larry Page's autonomous Cora aircraft. He led the evolution of a completely custom avionics solution from sketch to reality, while growing a team and infrastructure to support the rigorous standards aerospace commands. Cora is currently operating in New Zealand.
In addition to working on Cora at Kitty Hawk, Brian has made significant contributions to other aerospace projects, mixing in a little time at Google as well as leading the electronic design and software bring-up on the Engine Control Unit for the Rotax 912iS at Athena Technologies (now Rockwell Collins). Brian now wants to apply his knowledge and experience he has gained through his career to bring robust, innovative solutions to a broader range of clientele.
